What to include in your enquiry

To obtain an accurate quotation without unnecessary iterations, we need to know the actual condition and requirements of the structure. We frequently receive enquiries containing only a general description, which prevents us from determining material requirements and the technological procedure. Below is a list of information to send so that we can prepare a realistic offer.

Minimum requirements for a basic estimate

To begin the quotation process, we require three basic parameters. First are the dimensions of the structure, ideally in millimetres, including height, width and length. Second is a photograph or video showing the current state of the site where the structure will be located, or a sample pattern if it concerns a specific type of component. Third and most important is the description of intended use. We must know what load the structure will bear, whether it will be static or movable, and in what environment it will operate. Without these basic details, neither the approximate steel weight nor the type of required connections can be determined.

Ideal documentation for an accurate quotation

The best scenario is when you provide us with drawings or design documentation (PD). If you do not have such documents, a simple sketch with dimensions and a description of where openings, cutouts or specific details will be located is sufficient. If you have older drawings that no longer reflect the current state, please send them anyway. They will help us understand the history and intent of the original design.

What we handle

You do not need to know profile types, bolt sizes or anchoring details. Based on the specified dimensions and loads, we will select suitable profiles, calculate the required connections and design the method of anchoring into the substrate. We handle the technical execution in accordance with standard EN 1090-2 (execution class EXC2). If appropriate for your projects, we also provide hot-dip galvanising according to EN ISO 1461. We offer supply of components alone or comprehensive solutions including on-site installation.

Why we do not quote prices "from"

The price of a steel structure is not fixed. It depends on the current price of steel, manufacturing complexity, surface treatment and logistics. A "from" price without knowledge of the details is misleading and only leads to a final price that is significantly higher than the initial one. We are happy to provide you with a specific figure, but we need a specific brief for that. The delivery and installation date will be specified in the offer after approval of the technical solution.

Checklist: What to send us

  1. Dimensions of the structure (length, width, height) in millimetres.
  2. Photograph or video of the site where the structure will be installed.
  3. Description of use and expected loads.
  4. Information on surface treatment (galvanising, coating, or none).
  5. Exact delivery location and requested date (if applicable).
  6. Contact for the person who will communicate technical details.

Do you have dimensions? Send them over.
